Question about Boot Screent

Is there a easy way to skin your Windows XP Boot screen? I would like a new loading bar screen to display when the computer is turned on. Any help would be appricated.

I just hacked ntoskrnl.exe. Not suggested to do that, though, if you are a noobie. Here's some instructions for some help if needed. http://theeldergeek.com/boot_logo_01.htm
