Mouseover text color not working on new skin ...

While working on my new skin in SkinStudio, I had the mouseover text color changing for the StartPanel logoff area (it's just to the right and below the all programs area when you click the start button and says Log Off and Shut Down). Then when I applied a StartPanel logoff background, the mouseover text color quit changing. I get the background but no text color change.
Is this normal or is there a setting somewhere else I need to change in order to get it back?

I search forever sometimes trying to find something in SkinStudio and am not even sure if there is a place to do what I want.

I agree this is damn annoying.Being a new skinner i thought the problem was me.I probably wasted hours on little"bugs" that i couldnt resolve.Only to give up frustrated and settling for some compromise.

Same applies to start menu panels too, when you add the mouseover bg, the mouseover text colours no longer work.
