XP crashing after installing WindowBlinds

I just installed Win.Blinds yesterday, and when I go into Display to change a skin, a couple of times now my computer has crashed. Not ALWAYS or every time, but a few times after I click 'Apply' when I've chosen a different skin. Anyone know what's up? Thnx...

Hmmm, weird.
A couple of times when I went to apply a skin, my computer suddenly rebooted. It was a while ago and I believe it was WB 3.4. Hasn't happened in a while. By crash do you mean a sudden reboot?
Instead of getting a blue screen, XP reboots

Also, how much memory do you have and what video card?

I have 256mb mem., and Nvidia GeForce video card,and yes, "The DJ"...you have a point! I mean a sudden reboot! It WAS with v.3.3, and just this morning I upgraded to v.4 , so I guess I'll have to try changing skins a few times to see if it happens again! Thnx for responding!

Do you play a lot of games? It's not that uncommon.
It could be that you need to update your video drivers, cpu getting real hot, power supply, ram problem, etc..
You could do this:
Turn off auto restart on system error
right click my comp
l click properties
l click advanced
l click startup and recovery settings
uncheck the check box for auto restart after error
then post the complete stop error and stop codes here.
You could also check this site if it keeps occuring (already did a search):

Thnx "DJ"...I'm kind of a rookie here...I unchecked the auto restart no problem, I'm not understanding the 'complete stop error and stop codes' part! My focus has been on photo editing, so I appreciate the help on THIS technical stuff, and want to learn. And yes, the link didn't work, so I'll try the search. I SO appreciate your time and 'effort' at helping me, jsut so you know. I'm also new to messaging, and am quite amazed at how helpful people can be!

Has this never occured until you installed Windowblinds? The cause of this could be numerous. Do you play any games?

I remember my brother having countless problems when he installed XP. Got to the point where he went back to 98. Later on, he installed XP again on a different partition and has been good since. Has a dual boot and doesn't use 98 anymore so he's gonna attempt to format everything and try XP clean.
XP = Xtra problems .

yes...it HAS occurred to me, and I've been trying differnt things (uninstalling/reinstalling drivers, reformatting, installing video drivers from scratch, moving around the mem. cards,...) and the problem DID occur with the 2 mem. cards more often when I played certain games. I haven't had much of a problem since I took out the 'new' mem. card until now, when I just installed the WindowBlinds 3.3 yesterday. I upgraded to the 4 this morning, so the verdict's still out on this one (if it's partly the version??)... But I guess I've just been putting off dealing with the bad mem. card possibility because I was so busy with using it for photo's and school (I'm also a teacher of high school and young adults)...putting it off until June, I guess 
And when I saw on the message board that another was having the same 'problem', it sparked the necessity of getting to the bottom if it again. Heavy sigh... :

Well hmmm, it doesn't seem Windowblinds is the real problem here then.
Sounds like it could be your memory, or it could be overheating. You will see the error message now that you turned off auto restart. I've also heard of conflicts with some GeForce cards, and then it could be your mobo.
If formatting doesn't resolve it (which you did), then it has to be a hardware conflict of the nature I mentioned.
