Just some thank-filled thoughts I thunk today…
First, I’d like to preempt this by saying…I do truly thank you all…and those who have perhaps at times felt thankless I thank you too. Heck, I remember having Windowblinds on my very first computer (win 95 ha-ha) and boy…I fell in love with it! And I didn’t even know there was such thing as a ‘skinning community’ and figured that the folks that made the skins were all programmers/artists/geniuses hehe! (And back then, it might have been true…I remember a skinz.org but that’s as far back as I can reach in my RAM brain hehe)!
I feel a very strong need to thank the people whom visit this site and though they may not contribute art or skins they often contribute something greater than that which is not fathomable by an art program or paint brush…and that is…their hearts and they take time out of their day to write some kind and encouraging words. I'm thankful for the citizens here who don't put forth ‘art or skins’ per se but put forth something just as valid and important and that is their kindness and compassion and thoughts and constructive criticisms on what we do and what we give and it’s often those folks whom may label themselves as ‘ordinary folk’ whom make it worth it because of the love and kindness and appreciation shown.
I’m equally thankful for the well-established artists/skinners here who still take time to give a critique and encouragement and a gentle smile or nudge from time to time. I’d lie if I didn’t say I once would have loved to have lived this life of WC/Skinning and beautiful souls exchanging kind hearts and gentle words and fun ideas but I have a life after all. Hehe
Even if I never submit another skin or another piece of my art…I will always respect those whom did before me and those who will after me and the people who take time out of their sometimes long, tedious and weary days to thank and give thanks…
So I give thanks and appreciation all around…
To those who work to make my desktop change like magic…
To those who touch my heart when I change theirs…
To this wonderful website existing for us all…
And because…dangit…I feel thankful for being alive and being able to experience it all and understand it and cherish it and absorb it and relish it for what it is...a kind and helpful and insightful congregation of intelligent and insightful people for the most part...and the other 25% can kiss my skin...

No offense and I don't intented to upset you, but this thread is making me shiver. However, I do credit people who helped me with skins and helped during development of software and I am certainly not afraid to mention these people in public. You almost thanked all people on this website. There are some on this site who I rather not have on my list.

MadIce, I've had to learn skinning 99.9% on my own but it was fun.
