Create a new String value, or modify the existing value, called "MinMaxClose" and set it according to the value data below.
Registry Settings
User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]
Value Name: MinMaxClose
Data Type: REG_SZ (String Value)
Value Data: (0 = disabled, 1 = enabled)
Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.

Open the Registry Editor Navigate to HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\ControlPanel\Desktop.
Double-click UserPreferencemask and change its value to 3E 00 00 00.
Close the Registry Editor and restart Windows.
