I've noticed that lots of people prefer windowblinds above litestep, why is this?
tell me what you find good or bad about them...

My guess would be that most people are familiar with the original Windows desktop and taskbar command. Also, a lot of people are not aware of the Litestep funtions.

WindowBlinds determins how windows look. LiteStep determine how everything else looks and behaves. LiteStep is a replacement the explorer shell. You cannot compare them.

Styl....most people who use LiteSTEP also use Windowblinds....it's all you 'need' to fully alter your shell and look...

You do realise they are 2 different things...one skins the windows and GUI...the other is a shell replacement.

WindowBlinds skins your windows and related items. LiteSTEP is a shell replacement. There are not the same thing. It's like saying 'why do people prefer airplanes over houses?"  I understand that there is a recent add on for LS that skins the windows, but it's very basic, doesn't skin the scrollbars and such, if I recall correctly. And keep in mind that WindowBlinds is fairly simple to use, while LiteSTEP requires lots of reading, tweaking, and can completely change the way windows works..........
