Making logons

Thursday, May 29, 2003 by Sylva | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I'm considering trying to make logons to go with my companion and popsicle WB skins. Anyone got any tips on how to make them? I checked out the info that came with the app and I'm kinda lost *s*.

I've only done a couple of logons but I just start a new one and recolor all the bits to get a feel for it. I had a few problems with the image for the top pane. This may not be the 'correct' way but I solved it but making sure my top, center, and bottom pane sizes added up to 768 (My resolution is 1024X768). Before I did that I would get an error when trying to apply the top pane image.
You can test your logon by saving and then hitting 'apply'. It will log you out so you can see the logon in action.

I just noticed you are 'Top Author'

well, for the top pane, I just now noticed you can make them invisible, allowing the background to cover the whole screen. (yeah!)

I believe I read that you have to make sure all the bits are in your logon before you use it or you may be 'stuck' not being able to logon. I usually finish (pretty much) before I test.
