Sunday, May 25, 2003 by NeonGod | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Hi all: I got a problem with Graduate skin by Xymantix, when I try to apply this skin with WB4 I can't see the start panel user icon panel: it's trasparent! I've tried and I know that the file exist in the graduate directory but haven't found no way to visualize it.
Ideas?

after looking at the skin again I will assume you're referring to the entire top panel...the only thing I can think of is to delete the skin in question and re-download the skin. You might want to look into other proggies you're running...DesktopX and ObjectBar come to mind. Try unloading everything else and see if it effects it..Good luck

Sorry, I've tried to delete this skin and redownload it several times, with no result. I cannot see the top of the panel, where is the user icon pic. I don't use DesktopX nor ObjectBar. I only use WindowFX and I've tried to unload it with no result. Also this strange problem is only with this skin. If I try to put on another skin it works normally, I can see the top panel the user icon... everything. The only one that doesn't work is Graduate.
Any ideas?
Thanx

I've just downloaded this to see what your problem is and I have found it. Have you got Skin Studio? You need to open the skin in Skin Studio and navigate to User Pane, untick 'Transparent', which appears just below Paint Mode and then Tools > Windowblinds > Set this skin as current and choose 'save' when it asks.

That should sort it
