How to change a WB skin's fonts

Saturday, May 24, 2003 by LarlaDog | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I'm trying to change the fonts used in a WB skin I downloaded. Specifically the one used in Explorer (file listing, for example). Also icon labels on desktop. I've gone into the UIS file and renamed all the fonts I see to the font I want to use. I moved its .ttf file into the skin folder. Restarted but no change. How do you do this?

the font has to actually be installed on the system. Did you copy the font from the windows\font directory, or actually move it out of the directory to the skin directory? (you don't need the ttf file in the skin directory at all for it to work).

I copied the font -- it is still in the Fonts directory and installed. I moved it into the skin folder because I saw some other ttf files there. In fact, there is one font in the skin folder that is used in the skin that is not in windows/fonts.
