Hidden DesktopX Theme in Matrix Reloaded?

Friday, May 23, 2003 by Ray Wolfe | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Did anyone catch the unique computer interface shown in Matrix Reloaded? It was a touch screen display used by the "flight tower" crew to help bring Morpheus' ship into the docking bay. It was completely white with cascading folder or file icons done in black outline.
I would be very interested in hearing other's thoughts on this interface and to hear if anyone is thinking of designing a theme based on this interface.

That was actually running a Unix command prompt there. The commands that she entered were actual Unix commands and the exploit that she used was an actual exploit... slightly modified in that the was able to change the admin password where the real exploit allows you to log in as root... or something to that effect.

forgot to mention what the hack was: She uses NMAP to scan, then a ssh v1 exploit to hack the power grids

I don't think we're talking about the same interface. The one I noticed was only shown for a few seconds. We saw it from the back of a "see through" monitor. The screen was all white and the operator touched cetain icons which then cascaded down and slid to the right revealing more icons which the operator touched. There was no keyboard visible-just the touch screen. The operator was giving Morpheus clearance too land in Zion.
