So...
1) What is your favorite system, no matter how old?
2) What is your favorite game?
3) What would you like to own as a dream game system?

It doesn't matter Tech Cat, it's still there. How bout all the other innovative features?
I'm not tryin to say Gamecube or any other system sucks, but set it straight on what the Xbox has done and given and how it raised the standards.

I have had a hard drive break on me before so I do not believe that any hard drive has a long life span.
I have seen 20 year old hard drives before.

After my backup drive went a little bit ago (my power supply took it out along with a cd-rw drive), I've been using an 11 year old 7 gig drive.

A 32 inch TV for $799.99 is considered cheap? Hell you can get an analog rear projection set with a larger screen for the same amount.
why would i want a screen i can not play video games on? read the warnings on your viseo game system... not recommended for projection tvs!!!!!!!!!

I have repaired at least a dozen computers in the last 6 months and they all had hard drives dated from 1995-1997...They are built to last
Tech Cat...Perhaps YOU failed the HD...It didn't fail on you

#73 by Tech Cat - 7/18/2003 12:18:19 AM As a fan of vintage gaming, it is a big advantage to me. I have a growing collection of gaming systems and game paks that span my lifetime. I like to go back and play games I grew up with. I like to play both new and old games much like a person who enjoys both new and old movies.
Ok...That I can relate to...I collect DVD's and enjoy both old and new flicks

already had NES, SNES, N64
Now we have a GameCube
my favorite systems so far are SNES and GameCube
My favorite games of all time are Final Fantasy and Zelda (mostly Wind Waker), I was really sad when I saw there was no Final Fantasy games anymore on Nintendo system, I bought Final Fantasy VIII on PC just because of this, but I am glad Final Fantasy is coming back on GameCube!
Hurray!!!!

Ditto.
I forget, but I heard Nintendo themselves said they are droppin out and not making a next gen. console. Then I think I heard they were.
Can anybody clear it up?

That is about as much as you would pay for a new PC. Not that expensive. And they have 27 inchers for 499.
