icons and cursors?

can anyone tell me where i can get a FREE cursor-paint software? im having trouble and want to create some mouse pointers

spinal, Gimp is a very good image editor and it is freeware.

im not bothered about good, all i want is to draw a cursor and set the click point. i dont need loads of colours, i dont need and special features, just draw and save.

also it needs to be small, i only have dialup and bt arnt very nice and cut me off ever 2hours 'incase i forget'

You can just use MS Paint and import the images into cursor XP. That's what I used to make the simple cursor xp sets i made.
