"There appears to be no .uis file in this skin..."

Saturday, May 17, 2003 by hurrian | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Whenever I download a WindowBlinds skin from this site, I get the following message:

"There appears to be no .uis file in this skin. Are you sure it is a WindowBlinds skin?"

I have kept all versions of my ObjectDesktop software current. What is the matter?

Thanks,

Hurrian

Try downloading the file to a specific location on your hard drive and then double-clicking the file to install it...

Also download it using the right click method and selecting save target as.

That works -- thanks a lot.

Does anyone have any idea why I need to do this now, when before it would automatically install?

No, because I've always done it this way, from day 1.
