I used to use this a long time ago. I didn't know it was still around.

I remember Balarc Advisor from a few years ago.  I did have it installed on one of my earlier rigs, but somehow forgot about it when I upgraded to a new machine, so thanks a bunch for the timely reminder.  I have almost completed my newest build and Belarc Advisor will be a great addition to my list of useful programs.

Posting here so maybe I'll hopefully remember about this software in the future.

New rig has gotten a few BSOD's, some pointing towards DirectX driver corruption.  I was using WhoCrashed which gave me a general idea of what might be the problem(faulty driver) but did not give me all of the information necessary to correctly diagnose my computer.

I downloaded DirectX manually from the Microsoft website and haven't had any problems since but this program could definitely be useful for the future.

Here's another free app that does the same thing. https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy

Good to see you Stevo!!!   Yes, Speccy is good, it has it's purpose. I think Belarc gives a lot of info that Speccy doesn't, but they are both good tools to have!
