Want a theme done, this is your chance: doing skins on request

I decided I had to do some skinning again.
If you want to have some kind of theme done, just ask:
the rules:
-No request for copyrighted stuff, (no matrix, or nike, or stuff like that)
-Describe your theme (like colours, and style)
-No commercial skins (you're not allowed to go and sell the skin. (exept if you give me a share
))

hmmmm....... How about a lime green frame with neon purple and shocking pink pink titlebar details. Huge glass buttons set in a plastic outline. and...hmmmm........

really though, I have always had a difficult time working with yellow as the main color in a skin. So how about a skin with a lot of yellow (sort of a deeper tone though, not too lemony).

Styl...how about your current desktop (minus x-box stuff) with the brown background and
instead of green use sky blue. There's a ton of wallpapers that use that combo, but I haven't found a WB skin like that. Just a thought and thanks for asking

ummm..it's been so long since I've see it....but you may be right.(might shoot myself!) How about this ...green is brown and background is various shades of sky blue

~ I've been searching for just the right RED skin for like ever. I'm a big fan of the red used in the Graduate WB skin.
~ I guess what I'd like to see would be a black WB skin with some deep dark red gradients. No metallic tubes, no fancy buttons, when rolled up it's just a simple bar, not packed with all kinds of extra features unless they're available in substyles, the deep dark red gradients should be the main focus and black as the frame.
~ I did my own recolorization of Xi01, which I like quite a bit, but it's not quite what I want.
~ I've also been begging for WinAmp 2 skins to match both NoOS and Saphardana.
~ I've got a bunch of other ideas but can't quite seem to find the time to do them myself. I'm more than happy to help/collaborate with any of them(except WinAmp...AAARRGHH!!) You can contact me via email at [email protected] for more specifics.

I have an Idea i thought was cool and wanted to try, but I dont think I have the skills to do it the way i see it, at least not on the PC.
Title: Circa1920 - Done in the ArtDeco style of the 20's and 30's. The "Machine Age" of art and architecture. Bronze and chrome and tall dark shadows, Dull gray steel textures, concrete, gargoyles and hood ornaments. Copper and Gold plating. A TaskBar and Startmenu 'ala' Chryler Building, Windows and Buttons 'ala' Buck Rogers, Wallpaper 'ala' Metropolis... that sort of thing. A retro/futuristic skin suite. I think it's unique, and if done well enough, could be eye popping. At least I can envision it. I wish I could give it life.

Wow Skinner, so cool of you. Personally I would like to see, sharp colors of red, medium color of blue and soft green and use a crazy font like, curlz and lots of neat effects, "roll up" and things like that! No grey, black or brown! Does that even peak your interest?

Wow, Ingui, that sounds cool. You might want to give a try yourself. You make interesting choices in design (like WiP, for ex.) and I wonder if anyone else could come close to what you envision. It'd be interesting to see how something like that would come out.

One word for you..."Wood". I would love to see a quality wood skin for windowblinds 4. I am sure I am not the only one who feels this way.

A while back I was going to do a skin based on the old 1920's and 1930's style radios with the big wooden cases and metal accents. For some reason i never quite got it right though. It'd be nice if someone else could do it though.

The Wallpaper could be any public domain Journey wall. There must be tons of them. So, I don't think copyright would be a problem. People love Journey of old. God, how I miss Steve Perry's soaring vocals. A WB Journey skin would be awesome and a great tribute to a great band. There is already a Led Zeppelin tribute theme. The idea has so much possibility. Just a thought.

Sylva, I tryed it too, I did make a awesome Radio, only I had those big turn buttons at the bottom, for the volume, track, and all stuff like that. That neverworked out eather. Btw: wood is VERY hard too make. I take this one in considderation too, its a nice idea.

I would love a WB skin with the theme of the constellations, galaxy, planets, stars.. you know... something like that. Black,navy,silver,green and a touch of purple and red would be nice.

And I'm working on a WB skin you could port to something if youd like. In fact, that'll be open to anyone who'd like to try. Kind of like a less organized "community skin" project.
