When will this storm cloud go away

There has been a very dark cloud hanging over Wincustomize for far too long now.
Frankly, my husband is getting sick of hearing about it.
Keila makes the big mistake of talking to him about it.
So, if for no other reason then for the sake of my marriage. Please can things can brighten up a bit around here.
From reading what others have said I know many people feel the same way about the darkness around here.
So how about supporting this site the best way we can. With ourselves. Not with our ability to create beautiful things but with our ability to be kind, helpful, forgiving but most of all friendly.
Friendliness will make the dark cloud go away.

I was just going to say that people only really want to be heard. There are whole websites built around that premis... http://www.sothere.com/about.php WC is full of nice people who listen. If people don't feel listened to, some resort to tears, some to yelling. Looking backwards, it is easy to remember the melodrama... but there were many, many common-everyday kind of threads that just didn't merit the extra braincell storage allowance. If you page back, you see them. Kind of like filler... or something.

I am with Jafo, it's the global attitude. It's the stuttering of the economy and the knowledge life is not secure. It's the neverending talk of all kinds of diplomats and high ranked people and the non changing attitude of those who hold strings.

This is only a suggestion! There are situations -as in every relationship- where disagreements are inevitable, where words become destructive and not constructive and when tempers may flare out of sheer desperation. Would it then be possible to have like a grievance panel, where individuals could present their views or mishaps? This isn't a condemnation to anyone, honest!!! Yet, WC is growing and will continue to do so, therefore both artists and users can have recourse to a group of independent people who in a subtle and constructive manner offer a third party and neutral judgement. I think it could offer a forum whereby people will feel at least more acceptance.
I am no expert in any of these things; perhaps this is an awful idea!

mickboni...publicly aired disagreements end up in global warfare, as opinionated observers cannot resist becoming involved.
Generally 'problems' are better sorted by contacting an admin direct and discussing in private...
