confused amature !help!

Why cant i get next start themes to work? do i need some kind of software? and also what do i need to do to make the logons work? they dont do anything when i click on the icon to install! cheers in advance to anyone who reply's, if anyone actually does. and just incase you need to know, ive got win XP professional on my computer.

Im not too familiar with NextStart, but in order to change or use the logons, you need the LogonStudio program wich you can get for free right here>> https://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio/download.html
