X-Men 2

Sunday, May 4, 2003 by Frogboy | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Anyone seen this movie? We went to see it Friday afternoon. I must confess, I wasn't expecting much but it really turned out to be much better than the first one. The best superhero movie I've ever seen (including Spiderman).

It was awesome, much better than Spider-Man! Although I wasn't much of a fan of Spider-Man in the first place, entertaining movie, but not nearly as good as some people have made it out to be.

I enjoyed the movie immensely. Much better than I had hoped, given the first movie. A quite alot of nods to the comic books fans strewn throughout the movie

The movie kicked wicked arse! Yes, I spotted Hank McCoy ("beast") but you have to really be a fan to catch him and even Gambit...did you notive him???

It can only be better. The first one had to introduce the cast and all, which slows things down. The second one could theoretically start at full speed.

I had enjoyed it. They brought out a few characters that made the story a bit more interesting. If the movie had just stuck with the original characters from the first movie, it would have sucked, IMO.

I watched it Saturday night and it was great! It was definently better than the first one in storyline and in graphics. Its got alot of action but has some romance in there too which makes things a little more interesting. I had a great time.

Will probably rent it when it is released on DVD.

My choice right now, if I am to go to the theater, would be for The Matrix Reloaded.

I'm looking forward to seeing X-Men2, though I'll probably wait till it comes out on video or Pay-per-View.
I only recently saw the first X-Men and thought it was good.

I'm a Patrick Stewart fan so most of what he's been in I seem to like.

Excellent film. Once again Hugh Jackman was awesome, Patrick Stewart was flawless and Halle Berry was The others were spot on too.

Caught a glimpse of Jubilee at the end. Oh and don't worry about Jean - remember The Phoenix

ThE MOVIE ROCKED!!!.....quite a bit of action and it definetly was enhanced since the theater was packed!

Graphics were very good, but having gone to see Star Wars TPM and ATC...along with LOTR II, I had higher expectations of the graphics..........anyone who saw it, have their favorite character?

Mine was Mystique.....well she's actually been my favorite for a while but Rebecca Romijn Stamos (or however her name is spelled) plays her quite well.

Haven't gone yet, but will soon. I also want to see the Hulk after reading the book based on the movie. It should be great from how it reads.

IPlural, I wanted to see the Hulk until I saw a preview of it at X2. Looks like the CG effects are really a bummer...
