Can this be fixed or is a nic change in order?

A user recently let me know that my nic messes up the file... at first I did not understand what the heck he ment then I realized that all of my Dashboard skins have broken previews (thumb nail enlarged image)
as you can see the example here. my § is shown as %A7 and a dead preview image.
I don't want to change my nic to fix the images... I would have taken Static originally but even tho I was a fairly early Wincusto user it was already taken. *sigh*

well I tried it but it did not change the skins like jam said...

I happen to know that @shu tried repeatedly to have his prior skins attributed to his new nickname
and had no success....

hmmm... maybe I have a hope that T-man could find the time to fix it based on the fact that the previews do not work. I will make an attempt to contact him.
