Sysmetrix for windows 10

Does anyone know if sysmetrix works for windows 10??
Id REALLY like to make them again.........i miss sysmetrix alot on windows 10!

Yeah, it tends to get a bit confusing. Glad you got it working now.

Ok......here's what I got so far. Made two images, one png, one bmp. Import the bmp first without magic. Click on use pseudo transparency and the image vanishes. Go to graphics, click add...it goes to the folder but doesn't see the png. Made sure 'before everything else' was ticked. Open the drop down for the image and it doesn't show up. However, I was able to set up a simple clock sans the background.
I chose a light background to highlight it.

Dl'd one on my old skins and had to import it using SMX config. Clicked on the smx icon and it loads that way too but it does not show up in the folder.

No go with SMX. It refuses to work. No big deal.
really?? what isnt working?? mine is actually working.....cept for the weather but I'm going to look into that.

I have used it for more years then I would like to admit, well since it first came out. I have a collection of skins that fills a CD, and yes it works just fine in Windows 10, in fact I have even had it work on Linux under Wine, although not very well, and Linux has alternatives that work just as well.

really?? what isnt working?? mine is actually working.....cept for the weather but I'm going to look into that.
It refused all my attempts to load the png. It wouldn't even see it in the folder. I've done enough to know its not my skin screwing it up.

Uvah, are you checking inside the folder Sysmetrix creates for the skin?
Also, I had issues before if the images are not named correctly. I had to rename the "magic pink" image Graphic.bmp and the actual background image Graphic_BG I was then able to see them in the layer task.

Yeah, been uploading some OD Icons I had made for my self. Will also be working on an Icon Pack soon.

This is my test project. Might turn it into a full skin. Maybe a steampunk theme.

good idea Apocalypse, naming the file the right name sometimes does help alot......
everyone's sysmetrix's look insane btw!

the graphics had to be INSIDE the new sysmetrix folder........not a folder I made for it on the desktop DUH!!!
LOL getting better now....working good
