Logons!!!

What are exactly Logons? O.K. I'm administrator and I don't have to enter any password when I start my computer. I'm the only user! There are Logons papers to be downloaded. But wha is the purpose of it. Do I need it or is that just another playgame.

The purpose is if you have more then 1 person on the computer. With XP and 2K you can set what each person can do plus you can have diffrent desktop settings to what you want. So, instead of having the same boring logon screen, you can decorate it. But it's also just a play toy and only for XP at the moment. It's early so I don't have too much more to say. But I think some is still sitting in my brain.

It's another piece in the customization jigsaw. Another step towards achieving a complete look to your system. If you go to the trouble of decorating your whole computer with the many cool programs here, it makes sense to go the extra step and make your log-on screen match the rest of your theme. LogonStudio is a free program made by Stardock for XP users only. You can use it even if you are the only user of your computer, and it doesn't matter whether you have passwords set up or not.
