Hello all,

First of all i am new here. I purchased Deskscape recently to be able to provide myself and others with live wallpapers made from my art ( paintings aso) And scenes made with my art placed in an opensim self hosted and self created 3d virtual world. Just to be clear on this i am a painter of art, paintings mainly horses but lately people seem to love my paintings of scenery like a city covered in snow or old pictures painted like they were taken the picture today. Besides that i am a 3d creator of 3d virtual worlds and all objects in it as well as animating the characters or objects and i am a virtual fashion designers, i design clothes for virtual worlds, skins, makeup, shoes, jewelry mesh body's and so on and even more. Now i recently made a Dream containing a Pink Avatar dressed as a fairy dancing on an Island with pink trees and butterfly's and falling  flowers. Every single element made by me even her fingernails ... But sadly it got deleted due to insufficient proove of copyright. Actually it  sad where did you get this ? well ahum ....id did not get this i made this myself. So just to not be dissapointed the next time, how do you want me to proove the copyright issue ? Does anyone know how to solve this ? Because i am not going to spend this much time to find out its been removed again, its very frustating. The next link is an example its not the actual Dream  because its absurd to upload that to my YouTube channel... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kp1eeJv4_I4  This was a Christmas greeting made in a virtual world using my characters and having one of my paintings of the city of haarlem as a background.

It's really fascinating watching the characters dancing, even though it has glitches on the rendering part. I think you need to submit all of elements bits by bits that proving you are the one who draw all the them. You cannot use the templates which provided by the software or third parties claimed that's yours, though. Just be careful and specific.

I'm not an expert on Dream's. However some here are. One person is AzDude. He is on the West coast so you will need to wait till that part of the Country wakes up. He will see this and reply.

The only thing I believe I know is this but again wait till Someone else replies. There is a time limit of 15 seconds and believe the size limit is 150 mg.

Maybe you can obtain some information from here. https://forums.wincustomize.com/search;dream%20limits

Instead of a long typed out explanation check this out and see what he says.  https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/dream/8125/

all that was asked is a link to where you got it that's to show if its yours or someone elses.   Just uploading something from a new person sets off flags.  If its yours say so in the description.  Don't make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Go with What WOM says above.

If the images are yours you could post a link to them ,

once your known that. Might relax .

If images are copyrighted you must show a link and permission to use them.

Music like your song in the video is copyrighted so there is a 15 sec. Limit on copyrighted music also.

If you lay out a description in your dream upload like one of mine you should be ok.

In the forum in Animated Wallpapers Deskscapes is the actual guidelines that must be followed a must read before submitting dreams

Submitting something without provenance of any kind will raise suspicions of copyright ownership issue.

If a submission is entirely your own work simply state so in the description.

If it is partly or wholly NOT your own work also say so in the description AND include notice/s of consent for the use of whatever was not yours, be it personally-given permission or it being open source [free to use]....the latter requires links for verification.

Yes and thanks everyone, i did follow the advice given and that worked out fine. And the link above was an example of the 3d world build by me, i wouldnt upload a dream containing music because i know that is not allowed. I was confused how to link to a virtual world because you can't. But problem is solved

15 seconds of copyrighted music is allowed but adding music

and or sound effects tends to mess with a seamless loop causing

a jerk or a stop and go again.

Non copyrighted music is allowed with no time limits if permission to use is linked

It can be done though , I've done a few.

Posting a link/links in your description when uploading a dream is

easy just copy and paste the URL and it will show up once uploaded

as the word LINK.

Actual dreams loop cleaner than youtube video loops.

Using youtube video in a dream is not allowed on WC but it is OK to use youtube

for your video preview.

One other thing a dream file is best when formatting it to an AVI file

when you can vs. a WMV file ... AVI uses 1/2 the CPU usage then a WMV file.

You can PM me with a private message if you have other dream questions.
