Well, the apology is a start just remember ppl here as a rule are friendly so tend to not take rudeness well is all.
Anyway some steps to understand skins a bit more
1) get a proggy like Skinstudio and read its help files
2) visit a few of the skin sites and read their faq's, also think Stardock has one as well.
3) DL a skin similar to what you want to do. Open it in Skin Studio and look about to see how the stuff was put together
4) Relax, ppl here will be more than willing to help if you don't stress and snarl here hehe
5) read read and read some more. Im just beginning to understand the stuff myself hehe.

yes I agree, but in the wourld takeing chance and or not yet understanding, while testing your boundries who is to say what a mistake is. if it is just a way to learn, it my be a mistake to you, but sometimes when you have been up for 72hours. sometimes you can forget that you learned that lesson befor.

I'm new at this too, but do what I do. Follow Jess' suggestions, watch the board cause you'll see questions that ppl post and can learn a lot that way. Above all be friendly and constructive. You'll get a lot of help that way. I know I have

What ever happened to tact? I can't imagine going into a stranger's house and ranting expletives. I am assuming that such people don't travel much, since there are places around the world that you can be jailed or worse for running off at the mouth.
