Could someone translate German for me please?

Monday, April 14, 2003 by BoXXi | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I received this e-mail today but I don't understand German I'm afraid.....anyone know what it says?

Hallo boxxi!

Ich habe mir dein GridscapeDX xpTheme heruntergeladen und muss sagen: Respekt ist wirklich extrem gut!!!

Ich habe eine Frage, und zwar: Kann ich, wenn ich zB auf "Recycle" links oben klicke, machen, dass es den Papierkorb mit einem einfachen Klick und nicht mit einem Doppelklick öffnet??? wenn ja, wie?

mit freundlichen grüßen

Thanks in advance......

craeonics drags Weaksid back in here to point him at this: http://home.wanadoo.nl/arjenbolhuis/language-family-trees/11.gif (English = Germanic, not Roman/Latin)

I believe Latin filtered down into a lot of languages. At one time, the Roman culture was the dominate culture of the so called 'civilized' world and, as a result, it's words became emeshed into other cultures.

Not that that amounts to a hill of beans

Carl: I don't understand what he means. All the shortcuts in the Gridscape theme work with a single click. Unless he means that he wants the recycle bin to empty on a single click, instead of just opening it as a new window?

If you don't mind e-mailing him for me I would appreciate that. His address is [email protected]

Thanks Carl.

Hmm. He specifically asks about opening the trash can with a single click instead of a double click. Nothing about emptying it.

And yep, that's my new skin. Nice huh?

BoXXI : Is it possible that he has DX configured to double click by default and Your theme just takes the default action ? And he says for example the recycling bin. I will mail him nevertheless.

Hmmm... I thought if I set my theme to single click, it would do that on everyone's system. Is that not true?
BoXXi is confused now!

Thanks for mailing him Carl, I appreciate it.

"Often thought about doing a german translation of some documentation and stardock pages"

Yesss.. You have set movement to 'default' on objects, so if a user has dx settings --> start command on' set to double click, it will work on double click.

Sorry, not movement, activation... Nice theme, btw. Only looked at the thumb, so I missed the point of it.

Hey guys, if u have problems with translations, and u are not afraid of adware u should try LingoWare! it´s funny also! u get nearly the same geniusly results like from that google engine, and u can easyly translate any aplication window to most relevant languages!

nice greets X-Dream

(but be carefull, looks like this app contains "EzUla" wich links from keywords of any website u open to website of their ad-customers)
