Just one day after Carrie Fisher died from a massive heart attack, her mother, Debbie Reynolds passed away after suffering a major stroke. She was 82.

No, 2016 has not been the best of years for celebrity losses, with so many passing way too young and far too soon. I just hope that 2017 is a better year in that regard... and for those who found 2016 stunk for various reasons. I've had worse years myself, but 2016 wasn't among the better ones, either. My health could have been better [arthritis and vertigo], and I could have done with a few more bucks to get by on, but for the most part I'm grateful that I had enough money to manage my budget and I'm glad to be alive. It sure beats the alternative.
