Turn off Computer!

Monday, April 14, 2003 by badblueboy | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

No matter which skin I'm downloading but my window "turn of computer" is not skined? It remains unchanged. My OS is XP!

Can anybody advise?

To my knowledge this can't be skinned or changed. I might be wrong. But that's by what I know . There might be a way to change it by messing with files, but I'm not sure what all goes with that. Sorry

Yes this can be skinned. You must have WB 4 and of course the skin itself must have that item skinned by the auhor.

If you are talking about the dialogue "Turn Off" - "Reset" computer then it is skinned as is the "Please Wait" dialogue, make sure you have ticked the option Skin Shellstyles, this should do it:

Hoppity,

I mean turn off computer/restart/standby dialogue window. Where do you find option sheelstyles? What is "please wait dialogue"?

It's only been available since the WB4 Alpha releases came out. You must have WB4 installed to get this feature (and it must be added by the skin author).

Please Wait dialog is like the Turn Off Computer dialog and it shows up when you change skins.

These being skinned are only on WinXP and WB4, I assume that is what you are using, the "Please Wait" dialogue you would have seen when changing skins in WB4 and WinXP, hope this has cleared it up, sorry for the confusion

The Shellstyles settings is in the WBConfig dialogue I believe under the

User Overrides / Advanced Settings / Skin Console Windows
