Downloading Window Blinds skins

I am a registered owner of Object Desktop and Window Blinds 4.0. I have a subscription for the Win Customize site. But I can't download and install skins for Window Blinds. When I choose to download and install a skin it only creates an empty subdirectory with the name of the skin in the Window Blinds directory on my harddisk. That's all. When I rightclick the downloadlink of a skin and choose to save as I only get a .wba file. I don't know what to do with that file. Who can help me to solve this problem?

Actually, you don't even have to do that...... just go to where you put the .wba file and double click it. It will automatically install. Even better!

When I doubleclick the .wba file it does the same as when ik leftclick the downloadlink of the skin, it only creates an empty subdirectory in the window blinds directory. So, no solution!

right click save target from WC save to desktop, run *.WBA a cool WB4 tool tip should pop up saying skin is installed or add it from display properties

I exactly have done it the way you say, but no wb4 tool tip and no new skin in the display properties, just an empty subdirectory in the window blinds directory

Actually, your file should be in C:\program files\stardock\windowblinds

Rename the .WBA file to .ZIP and extract it all to a directory in the WB directory

I think you need to re-install window blinds. I have never heard of this problem before, but a re-install usually sorts things out.

Not necessarily true......... at one point during the WB4 beta installs, my WindowBlinds folder was moved (by SDCentral) from C:\Program Files\Stardock\WindowBlinds, to C:\Program Files\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds,... which caused me to freak, when the 2 skins I'm working on, disappeared from the list.
I was so relieved when I found that the WB folder had moved, but my old skins folder was still intact.
