How do you feel about software vendors trying to sell their products on the WC frontpage or here on the message board? Just wondering what everyone thinks about it...

Yeah I think its one of things where its gonna depend on each situation. Im sure ads for stuff having nothing to do with skinning will be a nogo but in cases like the guy with the organizer he is trying to spark intrest in makeing new skins.

as paxx posted, if the app is skin releated, then no probs for the developer to post a news in the front page, now, the message board is not for that porpouse.

It should be made as a news item, though, not just a post. News items go through moderation, so they are more credible than just posting on the messageboard (also lets people know that we are "OK" with it).
