Basic Help With SkinStudio Required!!!!!

Hello,
You probably have guessed I'm new to the community, I have been using WindowsBlinds for ages but I have only just got around to getting SkinStudio so I can (Attempt to) make my own skins.....
It seems to be going OK, despite the lack of ANY useful tutorial or help files >

I am Having a problem with radio buttons, check boxes and system buttons, in that If I make my own images for them (bitmap of tga) they allways end up an odd grey colour
This is really starting to P me off, so any help wpuld be appreciated

I have Tranlucency on...
I managed to get the system buttons to display propperly with a bit of fiddling..! But the check boxes/radio's are still weird
heres the code for em:

I have done... it fixed the check boxes but not the radio's lol
