yes i am trying to make animated cursors for cursor xp...trying being the key word, i can't make anything like your cursors, but i'm workin on it,...i use unFREEz 2.1 to make my .gifs
i went all the way to make the gif animated, then came to discover cursor xp only recognizes .ani's, well you live and you learn

png files are the most flexable to work with and ya won't end up beating your head against the wall trying to convert a gif to an ani and your results will probably be better.
Just follow the guide on the CursorXP site

i did make them .png files, but i was thinking it was easier to go from .gif to .ani, thanks for the advice. your the one who inspired me to take a stab at making cursors. all those guitar cursors made me wanna make my own, i'm working on making my guitar, but it wont look near as good as yours, so i don't know if it'll make it on the site, but i'm on my way to try

When you refer to .ani files...that leads me to believe you are trying to make an animated cursor????????????
