Skin Studio
Change font color
Saturday, August 20, 2016 by S J N | Discussion: Skinning
When I bring up System, on the left side there is Control Panel Home followed by Remote settings, System protection and Advanced System settings.
At the bottom there is See more etc. etc. I'm on Win 7 Ultimate x64.
How can I change the font color? Please and Thank you.

Thank you so much LightStar.
I bring it up and the box for control panel is blank.

Click the Revert Section to Defaults button S J N and then set your colours.

Most Win7 skins are fine on Win10. There are a few issues which tend to pop up, but not on every skin (depends on how they happened to be done), but those can be fixed (or compensated for) in SkinStudio, and there are nice people here who are happy to help you on those specific issues.
Windows Explorer won't look "the same" on Win10 though, but it can be perfectly usable.
Also, several of the Win7 master skins have been updated for Win10, in case you have missed that.
Load up one of you favorite Win7 skins and see how it goes.

Do what DaveRI above said to to.
If you try any skin that is made for win7 or above you will find very little wrong and sometimes you won't find anything to fix. Plenty to enjoy.

Open the skin in SkinStudio, then click on Change Skin Colours. Next click the Edit Windows 7/8 part colours button. It opens to the Control Panel area. The "Task Link" colours are for the links on the left side of Control Panel. You can toy with the other settings to see what they do also. Have fun!
