Someone out there is wondering if you are talking about their skin but you never made mention to which one is giving a problem

could you please specifically identify just one skin? A Windowblinds skin file has a .wba extension. If you are getting a message about which application to open it with, then you may not have the application Windowblinds installed correctly.

Do make sure that when you save the file it has a .WBA extension, otherwise it will not work, or rename the extension on the file you have downloaded to .WBA
