WindowsBlinds 10 on Windows 10 PC

Hello WinCustomize,
Last night I downloaded the new WindowBlinds10.
Also the SkinStudio. I am already a customer so it only cost
me $9.99 for the new software.
Unfortunately nothing is working. WindowBlinds10 does open when I click
on it. I then click on the Style. Then click on Apply Style to desktop.
It seems to go through the process but after that nothing. The desktop is
still the Windows 10 style. I did read later on the forum that the old Windowblind
should be removed before updating to WindowBlind10. Should I remove Windowblind10 and the skinStudio? And start again? Thank you.

After you try the above and hopefully it works, to have the startmenu skin you also need to have Start10 installed. I don't see any mention of you having it above.

Oh, I just remembered. Does that mean I need to purchase and download Start10?

It's up to you really, depending on what you want.
With Start10, you can have a Win7 layout-style Start Menu with the WindowBlinds theme applied to it, or you can choose for it to have a Win10 layout-style without the WindowBlinds theme applied to it. You can not have a Win10 style Start Menu with the WindowBlinds theme applied to the Start Menu (the same as it is without Start10).
So if you would use the Win10 layout you really wouldn't use it. If you would use the WindowBlinds-skinned Win7 layout, then you would. Hope that helps.

Uninstall, reboot. Disable any security software, install, and reboot again and see if that works.
