Classic Shell
Does anyone use it?

Just wondering if anyone uses this free software. I use it on Windows 7 and it works well for me. I would be interested to know if anyone uses on Windows 8 or windows 10 and what your impressions are?

Did you uninstall Windowblinds (what version of each program are you using)?

Haven't seen posts about W10 and Start10 and Classic Shell...although why you'd need them all, I don't know.

I am not using Windowblinds. Classic shell gives you the option to make many changes as you can see in the screenshot. As to why someone would need them all the answer is no one does, its just another option to make system changes safely. I have not used it on Windows 8 or 10 though so I can only speak as a user for Windows 7.
So I just loaded Windowblinds 7.42 and I don't see any issues with compatibility except Windowblinds does not skin the startmenu while using Classic shell

Neat lill' thang! This is the first new skinnable application I've installed in about a decade, and is the only skinnable application I have installed....
Still playing around with the diff settings trying to get all taskbars 'skinned'. They say DisplayFusion is supported, but I can't seem to get the 'ekstra' taskbars to play along.
Maybe a reboot is necessary.
Plus I need to figure out all the explorer settings. 'Tis fun playing arond with customizing again. 
Now they need to make a similar application (or 'plugin') for skinning the desktop right click context menu......
I'm still in a severe RightClick withdrawl. >.<

Therein would be the problem, for me, at least. WindowBlinds is a must for me. YMMV.
I agree but I do like the way classic shell makes the start menu look and there are a few skin options for making it look different such as having 3 styles of the start menu with 5 different skins each.
The advantage for me at least is that I do not have to be concerned about applying a windowblind that has conflicting font colors with some programs. I run into that issue sometimes even with Windows 7

Never saw a use for ClassicShell in W7, learn something new every day. 
And I never get, why people don't organize their StartMenus and end up with 3 or more columns when opening it.

The 3 columns is what Classic Shell does if you select that setting. You don't need to have it look that way. I chose it because I like seeing everything at one glance instead of the standard submenus. Its less steps when searching for something but to each their own.
