CPU Usage for Windows 10

What kind of CPU usage is everyone getting? I was expecting less of load on my CPU, and thinking the GPU would handle it.

Dream files right now are made with AVI or WMV formats
AVI uses 1/2 the CPU use of WMV
So there would be higher CPU use with WMV
I Note with my dreams which format was used.
Sometimes maybe for quality or looping a WMV format might be needed
So the formats can play with CPU usage .
The Right Codec pack is important as stated above.

Ok...I just downloaded the K Lite Mega. Is it out of the box? I'm still running 40% CPU usage, and 20-25% goes to DSHost Application. Sometimes it's 30%, and this is on most basic deskscapes.

I assume you mean DeskScapes / dreams?
Some use more than others.
Have you installed any codec packs?
I use K Lite Mega.
