Iconpackager for Windows 10 ???

ADMIN EDIT : IconPackager 10 is now available from www.iconzone.com and supports Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10.

I am very sure that some people have been asking in the past ..........

 

 

...... BUT .... would Stardock be Updating Iconpackager for Windows 10?

 

I really HATE Windows icons since day one LOL

 

Plus I want to use the icons to match with my Windowblinds 10 themes.

I've taken a look at this offering before and sort of thought it was okay, but it isn't as convenient and easy to use as IconPackager., which has a one-button click once the package is selected.  With Customizergod, however, each icon is applied indicidually, and that is far too time consuming for most.  While customizergod is a handy alternative to IconPackager, especially in Win 10, which doesn't support IP anyway, it still needs work to become a true replacement.  Still, it is a wothwhile app when one considers just how ugly Win 10 icons are.

I have tried it.  It's alright. It works .... but there are millions of icons that must be change "one by one".

 

I think I gonna wait for Iconpackager 10 too LOL

am i the only one here who doesn't see the point in using windowblinds or any other stardock product for that matter if i can't use iconpackager with windows 10?

i mean in the world of skinning/ custom desktops, you either skin it all... or you leave it all stock.... can't have a sweet windowblind and cursor and whatnot

without great looking icons 2.... that would be like painting your car a whole new color, but leaving the doors the stock color.... that wouldn't look right now

would it?

 

im still using windows 7, because not sure about windows 10 yet...... but i know sooner or later i will update to windows 10....

This is available for changing icons in Windows 10. - http://alexgal23.deviantart.com/gallery/

This will replace the standard Windows 10 icons with the icon pack you install. No need to change each icon individually.

I have tried a few of his Windows 10 icon packs and they work well. Had no issues uninstalling from Control Panel.

I make no guarantees that you or anyone else will not have any issues. Just offering an alternative.

Indeed. We pretty much did that at the same time, and I've had no issues either.

Works well, and looks good. Has quite a few icon sets available.

There have been discussions about a future IP release but nothing concrete to announce right now.

Oh ... I am staying away from iconpacks ..... especially Skinpacks LOL

In case you weren't aware this is a description of IconPackager:

IconPackager

IconPackager is a program that enables users to apply "packages" of icons. When applied, all of your Windows icons can be changed at once.

Was only giving you an option. Up to you to decide if you wish to use it or not.

Never had any issues with Iconpackager since Windows 7 ....,. just saying. 

 

Windows 10 is just few months ago as well.

There is a one click solution but most people will not want it because it is an exe file. Check out the work this guy has done. He has several icon packs for 10 and no doubt will be making more. I have used his stuff and feel safe about it. http://alexgal23.deviantart.com/

I don't do icon packs of any kind. Used to have Iconpackager but that was a long time ago on W7. Now I have my docks, no icons on my screen and what's in the folders......doesn't bother me. WB10, Start10 and docks...yum!
