This thread is just to satisfy my curiousity.

Over the past year I've started seeing images that load from the bottom instead of from the top or being interpolated. How do you do it?

Could you explain what you mean? Preview images, dx images, what?

Preview images.

Though I've also seen them elsewhere on the web over the past year.

sorry it took so long to get back. My preview images pop onto the screen so I'm not seeing what you describe. I looked at the way PSP shows those two type of formats and neither of them go from the bottom up. Perhaps your monitor is upside down?

The actual code escapes me, but basically you Blit the pic to screen from end of pic code to bottom of screen reducing the reading of the code and the placing on the screen of the pic as you go. Hope this helps.

actualy, This was my look at it: the pic loads totaly, and with a little jafa script it is shown 'loading' the bottom first.
