F1... Anyone?

Hi..
Its that time of the year again, when the fastest cars in the world put on a show. Grease spilling, gas guzzling, rubber burning lean, mean machines with mean drivers competing for the most coveted title in auto racing...
A bit too much? I don't think so.
Though most of the spectators were put off by the no show last time, (the scarlets demolished and dismembered the rest, the also-rans) its time for the ardent fan do don his fav team's colours and cheer for it for the races. All I can say... If u see a flash of colour whizzing past you on the road, be sure its a F1 fan emulating his/her hero.

I think he is a good pilot. Probably one of the top 3 in the F1 circuit right now.
Unfortunately when he took that decision to leave Williams for BAR, he made the worst mistake of his life. It may have ruined his career for life.
I'd love to see him with Ferrari next to Schumi. Except I'm not sure he'd like to be second pilot, because Schumi will always be #1 for Ferrari, no doubt about that. Yes, Villeneuve has talent, but he also got a huge attitude problem.
Funny thing, he's been bad mouthing BAR and Honda for 2 years, and now he's surprised that BAR is giving the cold shoulder.

Yes, but his problem is that he hasn't done to well in the last 4 years. Blame it on the car, blame it on whatever, but the fact is that nobody will hire a pilot who only went on the podium twice in the last 4 years.
There were rumours about Ferrari. But I doubt it will happen.

Me too, Ferrari has its drivers fixed for atleast two more seasons. I doubt that Schumi Sr. will leave the team he has worked so hard to bring on the top.
And as long as Ruebens has no problem playing the second fiddle to Michael, I think his place in Ferrari is cemented.

Paxx is absolutely right, Jacques has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that with a fast car he can out perform the competition. I've seen him do it many times. The very first time I saw Jacques race, he won. BEFORE F1, BEFORE Indy... on the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. It was the Formula Atlantic support race in Montreal on Saturday after the F1 qualifying session. My buddy said "hey let's stick around & watch this race.. JV is racing & he might even win!" And he did too! I'm a huge JV fan. I would dearly love to see him in a fast ride again, he's always been (until BAR) a satisfying driver to be a fan of, & me being a Jean Alesi fan I REALLY know how dissapointing a decade can be for a driver, eh? 
At least I got to see his one & only win in Montreal, I was there for that. Got video footage of me running across the track before the "all clear" (Jackie Stewart was having an anneurism about it!) to get underneath the podium for the spray. You can't do that anymore. Qualifying is NOW!!! B'bye...

I don't believe this guy. Crashed twice in the practice session, yet came out trumps when it mattered the most. Hats off to Michael... Great qualifying run.

BTW, love the new rules. They make the qualifying session much, much more exciting.
And there can be no work on the cars.. The setup will remain the same for the race. Thumbs Up to the rule man.. Hope it will be a scintillating race morrow.
