I love my WB but the userpic I'd like to see gone. How do I do that?

User pic that shows in the Start Menu?  Only way I know of is to edit the WB skin in SkinStudio:

Edit Startmenu and Taskbar

Edit Start Menu

Top Part

[Extra Settings] tab on bottom

Scroll down to "Hide the user picture", click on it to select/highlight it, click on the "Enabled" checkbox to the right.

"Apply Skin", "Save Changes"

DaveRI, you are correct.

Now if you don't want it in the skin at all.

Edit Start Menu Popup menus/Preview Popup.

The last item down is the "User Icon Frame" Click on the "Code editor" at the bottom. highlight all the code, right click and click delete. Gone.

Thanks for that tip Dave    I had thought about mentioning to Ross that the User Pics look a lot better if a person adds a decent frame image to replace the tired old default one in the same Edit Start Menu Popup menus section - User Icon Frame.

Ross if you get a user pic you want to use but don't like the position of it you can move it where you want.

To move the user pic.

Edit Start Menu/Top part. -- Use the Text settings to change it's position.

No...I'm not all that fond of userpics. But I just realized that I'll have to do that to each of my WB's. Does it matter if the one I edit is the one running?

That's really the easiest way to do it.  Open SkinStudio, menu command File/Open current Windowblinds skin.

Thank you DaveRI. This may be the start of something truly catastrophic.

I tried deleting the code but for some reason after clicking on user icon frame then the code editor no code showed up to delete. So I just hid it, or thought I did. Opened up the start menu and found the userpic had moved all the way to the left of the menu. Then I opened WB config and found that I was using the Precision Windows 8 (preset) which is not listed in SKS. I changed it over to Win 7 then back into SKS to do it all over again. This time it worked. Figures I'd have an old skin up.
