HELP!!!!

Monday, March 3, 2003 by Avis | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I am very new here. Some how I have managed to put two wallpapers on my desktop. One is small and the other uses the rest of the desktop. Something came up when I was messing with the little one. Like 'compressing' then that was it. Now I cannot get rid of the little square of wallpaper. I really need help here. Thanks!

Sounds like you set a wallpaper as a desktop item and not desktop back.

It has been a couple years since I used an active desktop so don't remember how to remove an item. I would guess right click and delete it.

I tried everything and I think that Ms. DELICIOUS is probably correct. So, does anyone know how to remove a desktop item?

ZOpen your file manager....surf through the directories...depending on which OS you'll eventually find one called 'desktop' look in there and you'll see links to the icons on your desk and most probably an image of some sort....delete that 'image'..
