A very short list of immensely talented and creative Russians. None of these great people ever needed to steal their ideas. So, Mr. Tereschenko, why do you feel you need to?

sorry my mistake. One question. Why dosn't wincustomize offer StyleXP Skins?

Because they are an unauthorised dll hack designed to bypass Microsoft's copyright protection....therefore unsupported/unendorsed by the OS manufacturer....hardly the thing you'd want to be messing with...

yet stardock dosen't have a program that installs and runs ALL of the stardock programs. Top that off with the fact if you want to change one thing with your theme on objectbar you have to go through endless dialog boxes. What about litestep skins?

I have LiteStep and was wondering decides deskmod.com where I can get skins. I was also inquiring why this site has none, no offense.

This site DOES have LiteSTEP 'skins'....actually, 'themes' is the word.....currently 169 of them...

All the skinning sites will have a number of LiteSTEP themes...as well as the dedicated LS sites.....head over to shellfront and follow the links...

As for the Stardock proggies....there's 'Component Manager', now morphing to 'Stardock Central' which does exactly what you claim it lacks...

Note....not all the proggies at left are Stardock proggies...

And there's WinStyles https://www.stardock.com/products/winstyles/, which allows you to apply themes to all of Stardocks programs and many others as well in one fell swoop.

I already bought all of these I just think it is the fact no one has shown me how to use them.

Now there's a thought....you worry about the complexity of Stardock's proggies and needing a hand held to run them and yet you are using LiteSTEP.
Jafo expects any day now that kona0197 will mysteriously disappear from the board because LiteSTEP tells him to re-install Windows...

I quit using Litestep yesterday. And for your information, My hard drive is partioned into 2 different drives with windows on one and everything else on the other. LiteStep had no problem running and since windows is on another drive, it never crashed. I did not go to college for 2 years to be a computer technican for nothing. I do not appreciate the putdowns. Some of us take that person you know... > > > >

Putting LiteSTEP on an alternate partition will do nothing.
Litestep replaces explorer.exe as your shell....it still attaches as the 'front' to the same kernel....

So? I installed it, ran it, used it, and uninstalled it with no ill affects. You just have to know how to hack windows files and/or how to make sure you know damn well what windows XP is doing.

OK...I'll bow down to your experience of 2 years at college.
Clearly you're way ahead of me and my understanding of this LiteSTEP thingie...

Silly me...
