I only knew about it because I was looking on Stardock Central... but downloading there did not succeed (maybe I should uninstall it first and try again?). I don't think you have to pay for an update. Thats one of the many good things about stardock..

For people who don't know- Stardock Central will be replacing the existing Component Manager and will also show you components that you have purchased even if you do not have the full Object Desktop, or if you purchased something else through Stardock like CursorXP.
