So why would you want a Kazaa icon, huh? Into pirated software? Pirated music?

Kazaa isn't a very popular beast around here.

I recently had to repair someone's computer because they let a "friend" install Kazaa on it....
Well, if nothing else it keeps me working....

*chuckles*

The last time I worked as a tech I got called out on numerous calls from people whose kids had put Kazaa and its spyware on their system and it killed things.

Kazaa Lite claims to have no spyware when in fact it does. If you remove it, it will not run anymore.

I admit I used to use Kazaa and it is not welcome here but I do not use it anymore.

Just thought I'd pass that along.

Kazaa has a spyware program which you have to remove out of the reg before you can uninstall it. Same with Imesh and all of those P2P clients.
That's where they get thier wonderful money from.

Napster Sucked...
Kazaa Sucks
So does Morpheus

If you want free music or software, download the free mp3's from legit websites offering them and as far as software use the trials, if you don't like them, don't buy them.

I buy my software and my music.

It would perhaps help if I spend some time over the weekend working on a set of rules and regulations. If all the admins would kindly give me an email on what they would like to see written on it, I should be able to have it done by the time Spring Break is over

mp3.com... I never knew you had to be a member there to download. When I use to frequent that place, I just went ahead and downloaded... didn't know I had to sign up

Sorry guys, I didn't want to piss anybody off. I shouldn't be using Kazaa and I know it.

Kazza Lite as far as I can tell has no spyware in it. The "spyware" that you find is actually a dummy file to make the program still run. Simply a dud in order to make the code think that it still has spyware so its ok to run. THat make any sense? Its there to make the program think that it is ok to run because Kazaa needs the spyware to operate.

I used DC for hand to hand combat instructions, weapons, and books on how to do things with my programs. Plus some other interesting ones just to check out what they said about the Bible, dark bible, etc. E-books are diffrent from reading a hardback. I'm running out of room for books. I need to start my own library room soon

most of mine are E-Books, i must say most of the programs sites do tutorials but are mostly aimed at the experienced etc, very rarely find a complete novice guide going through every aspect of the program.

still handy though
