I didn't see a rules section for the message board.

On most of these boxes on the left and right side, you can also click the title of each box for expanded information.
I bet lots of people here didn't realise this!
Have fun!

. I am currently working on revising the "Help" section, so when I'm done, you can re-read it. Fun, eh?
As for board rules and regulations, here are a few you may want to take note of:
1. This is a family community site (I learned that a few weeks ago) and so as JM says, no cussing of any type shall be tolerated on this board. Violations will be dealt with by one warning and then exile if the violations continues.
2. This is a multi-national community. Any biased comments towards anyone outside your descent - whether American, French, Canadian, Spanish, German, Chinese, Japanese, Phillipino, Indonesian, India, or any other nation out there - will not be tolerated on this board at all. One warning, and then exile if the violation continues.
3. Seeing that you have already read the About section, I think you understand that we have moderators who "purge" our wallpaper submissions as they are submitted. If your artwork doesn't get accepted, please refrain from insulting the community or its admins. There are plenty more site out there who would accept your artwork, the one without moderation is Devianart.com.
4. Speaking about controversial topics aren't "taboo" however, promoting or asking for warez is not tolerated at any level. However, feel free to bring up well thought-out disscussions if you wish to.
5. If you click on the names of the people you see on the board, a pop up window will tell you about the user's class rank and hopefully his/her email if you need to contact anyone with questions.
That's it for now. If I think of more, I will post them up for you

Admins here don't like it when people start a new thread for every question they ask. It would probably help you get on their good graces faster by just using this one thread for all the questions you want to ask

Can I use this thread to ask a question, too?
On the average how many days do ppl keep the message board showing. Mine is set for three days.

Main thing to be aware of on the Message Board is that we are a 'family' site, so the rules of common decency apply.
The mechanics of the board are such that if a message is tending to slip down the list before anyone has responded, any added comment will push it back to the top.
But give it reasonable time for a response, as the guy with the ideal answer may just still be sleeping in a different time zone....[or just sleeping lazily in the same one]...

The board gives good connectivity between the 'skinners' and the 'users', so it's a place where you can interact with the same people who create the skins and images you're using on your machine.
Have fun...
