No that did not do it for me. Installed it and it is enabled but still no buttons. Maybe there is a setting but I cannot find it under the classic theme restorer settings. For me the solution would be easy if excluding Firefox from being skinned by windowblinds worked. I am not sure why it is not recognizing Firefox.

There's another thread about this issue round here somewhere you may get some other ideas from,i know the classic theme restorer worked for me,i'm not sure where it is there's no list of topics i've replied too in my profile on this site & my history has been cleared in my browser

edit:just found post replies hidden in plain site however i can't find the topic regarding this issue,it wasn't that old a topic it was late 2014 or somewhere in 2015

I found the thread thanks. It was as simple as removing the firefox exclusion and checking the title bar box under customization. I now have the buttons back.

I just finally (begrudgingly) updated to Firefox 40 from 28, and now my Firefox is all whack too. I have the titlebar enabled (which sucks up vertical space) but the background behind the tabbar is still black/trans. I have to say, I hate this new version of FF; the damn statusbar keeps disappearing whenever I reopen the browser. Wish they would stop trying to copy Chrome.

You could always use Pale Moon instead. http://www.palemoon.org/ It's basically a faster version of Firefox with the old, non-chrome style look.

That has not worked for everyone. It did not work for me and I read in the other thread I made reference too that there were a couple other people that adding classic theme restorer did not work for. What I wrote in reply 4 was the only thing that did work. The strange thing was when I went into the customization settings the title bar box was checked. I unchecked it, restarted Firefox and rechecked the box and it was then my buttons returned and the title bar returned to normal. I do have classic theme restorer enabled now but at the time I made the changes that worked it was not enabled. 

Well maybe you were in a particular setting in your Firefox settings

Before installing CTR, once have usually to verify/modify some appearrences settings in Firefox itself, and after CTR is correctly installed as add-on, you have to search a little in all the differrents settings of it to get Firefox the way you want.

here's how is mine with latest Firefox version :

i think bebi bulma should be in a differrent case as you, because it's an upgrade of Firefox 28 to Firefox 40 and appearrance is all changed because of "Australis theme" now used. CTR is mainly done do get Firefox with the "old default theme", but BTW it brings some settings which are allowing Firefox to be better skinned with WindowBlinds that it was without these settings

I do have Classic Theme Restorer installed, and I'm using the FX Chrome theme. However, the tabbar is still borked.

As far as i can see you just may have to

1°) Set Firefox itself to display the menu toolbar and add-ons toobar

2°) Find the correct settings in CTR to bring the appearence of Firefox just the way you want it

To complete the look (and possibilities of customization), you may add :

I also have TMP.

I'm using one of Chrome's themes to get the buttons back without any other add-ons. You'd think FF could do the same, considering how Mozilla is trying to emulate Chrome. 

I like Chrome, but it's too simple. And Firefox still has the separate search box, and that's a MUST.

If it's something coming with FF, just get rid of it and you should find the correct settings in CTR

Yes, it's a FF theme, and changing to the default made no difference. Hrmm.
