Suggestion for new App for Stardock development

Just a thought to point out, in hopes that Stardock might pick up and do some development. Prior to any advanced eye candy software like Windowblinds, I used the Windows Desktop Themes Control Panel app to change the look of my desktop and avoid monotony. The one nice thing about Desktop Themes is that there is a separate sound scheme associated with each theme, and some of the sound schemes were really great, and there was/is a great variety of useful, interesting schemes out there. (Also a great variety of cacophonous, useless schemes as well. How many times can you stand to hear The Mask say "SSSSMMMMokin..." when you minimize a window?)
Now that I use WB/OB/DesktopX/Winthemes to change my look and feel, I still have to change my sounds schemes either by hand, or by firing up a Desktop Theme change. Desktop customization should include sounds as well as sights, it would be cool if Stardock came up with a Sound Scheme Manager for its Object Desktop suite. Just MHO.

So I assume you need to assign them manually, one sound at a time, using Skin Studio? Is there a way to re-assign without using SS? I do have the "Use SKin Sounds" option set on in WB, but I also assume that most of the skins I download do not come with their own sound schemes. It would be nice to deal with them as a single unit, like a DesktopX theme or IconPackager theme, and separate so I could mix and match sounds and skins.
Not a bad idea for another library type here. Anybody know a place analogous to Wincustomize for sound schemes?

Not really. I've looked, but I admit, not very hard.
Customizing sounds doesn't seem to be nearly as popular as eye candy does in Windows. Probably because the difficulty of making good, and unique sounds.

well there is that, and like walls there are plenty of places to pick them up...
actually, if you want to use the text editor you could set yourself up with macros and then just move down through the skin control file and hit the marco as needed to change or add the sound args as you like, I would think...
though, as most are learning, my thinking is generally warped
