For me so far the best thing about Windows 10 is Start10 ....

I am not having the problems that others are having - at least so far. But...having Start10 has made a huge difference. The color pickers in Windows 10 don't work well at all. Now I can actually have a Start Menu and a Taskbar that match. Start10 is a great program and Kasperksy likes it too. Start10 is a great way to customize Windows 10 while we wait for Windowblinds 10 to be released. I've read some of the squawking but people need to understand that it is far better to finish a product than to release it too quickly and find bugs. If only I could get that across to Microsoft.

+1. That black taskbar looked horrible, now at least we have choices of colors plus transparency, textures and blur! Thanks, Stardock.

question..does start 10 eliminate the tiles?

Being a windows user since, well before windows, I just don't get the whole tiles thing. Nor do I understand why MS is forcing it on us. The Start menu was great. most everything I wanted to do was a single click away. Thanks Stardock, for bringing that functionality back!
I like many of the features of Start 10. And I especially like the ability to shange the Start button icon to one of my liking. (I just don't understand the reasoning for the cartoonish tiles and flat, drap button icons in win10). Minimalism I guess, but I don't get it.
Anyway, Start 10 has worked flawlessly for me over the past month. I'm thrilled with it, and the fact I get my beloved Start menu back!
