I QUIT!!

Wednesday, February 19, 2003 by joetheblow | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I just quit my first job! What a feeling of "what the heck am I going to do now" that comes over you after making that decision.

The funny thing is that I will probably be doing the same type of job next week. A Bike Messenger for some NYC company.

I like being outside and all, but can you pay more??? If I didn't loose my original job a 2 years ago, I would have to resort to working below minimium wage. And the weather!! SHEEEESH!!! If I am not freezing its snowing and if its not snowing its raining.

I think I should move up and work for UPS, FedX or something...

Just learned that New York is in a resession... more good news.

Funny that poll should be on the site today...

Hey don't feel so bad so bad Joe, I walked out on a job friday that was crap... just pick up your feet and go look for another one... at least that is what I did, got another one the next day I went from being a mechanic to selling cell phones, back to being a mechanic... all this month... boy has it been a long month... but hang in there... and if you can't get another job right away... remember unemployment is always there for you...

I have to agree with everyone...definately check out UPS! I know several people that work for them, they ARE a great company to work for....plus, when it gets hot in the summer, you'll be running around in the sporty brown shorts!

Good Luck!

I didn't get a chance to shovel snow. NYC sanitation already had there people. When I got there there was allot of people. Mostly men. I didn't think it would be allot of people.

Anyway, I'll be looking into UPS. On of thier offices that I would like to work out of is right on the tip of Manhatten and easy to get to. Hope thier hiring.
