taskbar thumbnails

Hi,
Working on my skin I've changed some resource that affected the taskbar thumbnails and I'm kind of lost where to apply a rollback.. Is there someone knowing the culprit ?

Do you mean the item in 'startmenu and taskbar/preview popup' ? Because I don't have any resources used there for any of the 4 sub sections (preview background, preview item, close button, user icon frame)...

yes, its startmenu and taskbar/preview popup.Just try to modify the preview popup image or temporary replace the preview image without transparent border.

charlene. I agree with what Dest said. Why don't you just download one my my skins open it in SKS and check out the "Edit Start Menu Popup menus" area. You can make your own graphics and use the size and code from mine. Just type davebax it the search on the top right of this page.

Hi, thanks for your imput but there's something I just don't understand... how can I modify the settings for a non existent resource.. ? My preview pop-up section is empty as I have no pictures set for this area (yet) !
This must be some kind of entanglement from another section like colors for text in all programs affecting (I don't remember) another area, don't you think ?

Open some WB skin in skinstudio like diamond or daves WB skins.When you create new skin in skinstudio the skinstudio will make you a sample skin created by stardock.You can study the code and settings and change each frames or image like for example my preview item has 1 image (default) and a size of 216x160 that means you are going to make a same size and sometimes same number of frames.

It looks your preview item(preview popup) top and bottom layer has too much cuts,adding size of image (not resizing the actual image just repaint to resize the layer) could cover the center of preview background (back image)
