Well folks...its that time again. A five month old Toshiba is mine! Win 8.1 and everything except........all those superfluous apps. Yuck!

This time, please take some extreme measures to protect & secure your laptop, even if it means chaining it to your wrist.

Two things:
One; AVG 30 day trial, didn't find a free version, turns Windows Defender off.
Two; Cannot auto hide the task bar. Not working.

Hmmmm....Uvah...maybe you should run an sfc /scannow .

AVG does have a free version, you must have looked in the wrong checkbox.

Did the sfc /scannow and all I got was s brief window that promptly vanished.
